If I was the principal of my school

Man is a most imaginative being. Every human being has many fantasies. The world of imagination is also very beautiful and sweet. Here, wandering out of his dreams, he decides also the aim of his life. The march towards the goal of life is a sign of the success of human life, for once a goal has been set, it will require the effort to achieve it, and when serious effort is made to achieve it, it will also be achieved. A person who moves on the path of life without setting his goal has the same status as a traveller straying without any direction.

The image of the principal - in my mind

I have also dreamt about my life, a dream of becoming principal of a golden dream school. I had read the maharshi 's idea in the recent past: teachers are the clever gardener of nation' s culture. He gives food to the roots of the rituals and makes them super powers by his Labour, 'you may be wondering if this is about the teacher, then why did I dream of becoming a principal rather than a teacher? I believe that schools can perform their duties well only if there is a guide or principal to guide them, inspire them and encourage them at every step. In the absence of a competent principal, all the activities of the school become educable in the same way as in the absence of an able commandant military strategy.

 

Teaching :- 

Today, when I see the miserable condition of teaching in schools, I feel that they are being played in the name of education. Education has become an occupation not a sacred task. Public has flooded, but they are nothing but appearances. The government has been exploiting parents by charging a large number of fees, dress, government payments, and fees. What one looks at today is talking about the misadness of education. From the common man to politicians everybody wants a radical change in education, but nothing is really being done. All this moved my mind and I became a principal and planned to do something in the field of education

                           As a principal, I have a lot to do with which I have mentally prepared myself. I will strive to make my school a model for other schools. First of all, I want something else to do. Most good schools are admitted only to those students whose guardians are held in high positions or are blessed by lakshmi. I will admit in my school to the normal class students. I believe that every student has that talent. It is necessary to provide suitable conditions for developing that talent.

Ethical values :-

My school would be a good example of the universal equality, which would provide for moral education, but that would be based on the essence of all religions, not on any particular religion. I shall do everything possible to foster moral values in children. I would also endeavour to invite the parents to school every month and to share with them the problems of students. I believe that even today, parents have contributed to the mishandling of education. Today most parents do not pay attention to their children 's studies. Either he is so busy in his work, in money - making that he doesn 't have time to talk to his children or he admits to his duty by getting into school with one or two tutor. I would like the parents of my school to keep in touch with the school 's needs on a regular basis and with the help of both, the standards of education would improve.

Method of examination:

I also wish for substantial improvement in the examination system. Today 's examination system is very bad. It is not a correct assessment of the ability of the students. By answering only the questions rattu parrots get more marks. These days children are given important questions which only they use to repeat the answer. What questions are asked in the exam is also considered a luck game. I shall endeavour to create the papers in such a way as to enable the student to answer only those who have read them well, not just selected questions.

Various activities are :-

I will only enforce the games and troups in the school. I should like a student of my school not physically handicapped. For this I shall make the subject compulsory for all. By having conducted various psychological tests from time to time, I have found out that my child is interested and will give them the right direction for the future. In the same series, I will call on an athlete 's specialist from time to time to learn about his child' s sports talent and train him in various games.

                           For the overall development of the student, every student must participate in various competitions, lectures, debates, quizzes, plays, etc. I shall from time to time attempt to persuade the student of my school to see the multi - dimensional culture of India and strengthen national unity by planning them to visit different parts of the country. It would be my endeavour to enable students who are to be educated from my school to become an enlightened, active, cultured and disciplined citizen in their future life.

यदि मै अपने विद्यालय का प्रधानाचार्य होता....

मानव अत्यन्त कल्पनाशील प्राणी है। प्रत्येक मनुष्य अनेक प्रकार की कल्पनाएं किया करता है। कल्पना का जगत है भी अत्यन्त रमणीय और मधुर। इधर कल्पनाओं में विचरण करता हुआ वह अपने जीवन का लक्ष्य भी निर्धारित कर लेता है। अपने जीवन - लक्ष्य को लेकर चलना ही मानव - जीवन की सफलता का लक्षण है, क्योंकि एक बार लक्ष्य निर्धारण के बाद मनुष्य उसे प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रयास भी आवश्यक करेगा ओर जब किसी लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति के लिए गंभीरता से प्रयास किया जाएगा, तो वह प्राप्त भी होगा। जो व्यक्ति अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित किए बिना जीवन - पथ पर अग्रसर होता है उसकी स्तिथि दिशाहीन होकर इधर - उधर भटकने वाले पथिक के समान होती है।

 

प्रधानाचार्य की छवि - मेरे मन में 

मैने भी अपने जीवन के बारे में एक सपना देखा है, एक सुनहरा सपना - विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य बनने का सपना। मैने पिछले ही दिनों महर्षि अरविंद का विचार पढ़ा था - ' अध्यापक राष्ट्र की संस्कृति के चतुर माली होते है। वे संस्कार की जड़ों में खाद देते हैं और अपने श्रम से उन्हें सींच - सींच कर महाप्राण शक्तियां बनाते है।' आप सोच रहे होंगे कि ये विचार तो अध्यापक के बारे में हैं फिर मैने अध्यापक बनने की अपेक्षा प्रधानाचार्य बनने का सपना क्यों देखा? मेरा यह विश्वास है कि विद्यालय अपने कर्तव्य को भली भांति तभी पूरा कर सकते हैं जब उनका मार्गदर्शन करने, उन्हें प्रेरणा देने तथा उन्हें पग - पग पर उत्साहित करने के लिए कोई पथ - प्रदर्शक या प्रधानाचार्य हो। योग्य प्रधानाचार्य के अभाव में विद्यालय की समस्त गतिविधियां उसी प्रकार शिक्षण पड़ जाती हैं जैसे किसी योग्य सेनापति के अभाव में सैनिकों की रणनीति।

 

शिक्षण :-

आज जब मै विद्यालयों म शिक्षण की दयनीय स्थिति को देखती हूं , तो मुझे लगता है कि शिक्षा के नाम पर विद्यार्थियो से खिलवाड़ किया जा रहा है। शिक्षा एक पवित्र काम न रहकर एक व्यवसाय बन गया है। पब्लिक की बाढ आ गई है, पर उनमें दिखावे के अलावा कुछ नहीं होता।  अनेक प्रकार की फीस , ड्रेस , डोनेशन तथा शुल्क वसूल कर अभिभावकों का शोषण तो किया ही जा रहा है, साथ ही कर्तव्य भावना से हैं शिक्षक वर्ग ट्यूशनों के द्वारा अच्छी खासी कमाई के रहे हैं। आज जिसे देखिए वही शिक्षा की दुर्गति के बारे में बात करता नजर आता है । साधारण व्यक्ति से लेकर राजनीतिज्ञो तक सभी चाहते है कि शिक्षा में आमूल - चूल परिवर्तन किया जाए, परंतु वास्तव में किया कुछ नहीं जा रहा। इन सब कारणों ने मेरे मानस को आंदोलित किया तथा मैंने एक प्रधानाचार्य बनकर शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कुछ करने कि योजना बनाई।

   प्रधानाचार्य बनने के बाद मुझे बहुत कुछ करना होगा जिसके लिए मानसिक रूप से मैने स्वयं को तैयार कर रखा है। मै अपने विद्यालय को अन्य विद्यालयों के लिए एक आदर्श बनाने का प्रयास करूंगी। सर्वप्रथम मै चाहूंगी की लिक से हटकर कुछ कर दिखाया जाए। अधिकांश अच्छे विद्यालयों में केवल उन्हीं विद्यर्थियो को प्रवेश मिलता है, जिनके अभिभावक उच्च पदों पर आसीन हैं अथवा लक्ष्मी के कृपापात्र है। मै अपने विद्यालय में सामान्य वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश दूंगा। मेरा यह मानना है कि हर विद्यार्थी में प्रतिभा होती है। जरूरत है उस प्रतिभा को विकसित करने के लिए उचित परिस्थितियां प्रदान करने की ।

नैतिक मूल्य :- 

मेरा विद्यालय सर्वधर्म समभाव का अच्छा उदाहरण होगा जिसमें नैतिक शिक्षा का प्रावधान होगा , परन्तु उसका आधार कोई धर्म विशेष न होकर सभी धर्मो का निचोड़ होगा। बच्चो में नैतिक मूल्यों के विकास के लिए मै हर संभव प्रयास करूंगी । मेरा यह भी प्रयास होगा कि हर मास अभिभावकों को विद्यालय में बुलाया जाए तथा उनसे छात्रों कि समस्याओं का आदान - प्रदान किया जाए। मेरा यह मानना है कि आज कि शिक्षा की दुर्गति में अभिभावकों का भी योगदान है। आज अधिकांश अभिभावकों अपने बच्चो की पढ़ाई पर ध्यान नहीं देते। या तो वे अपने काम काज में , धनोपार्जन में इतना व्यस्त रहते है कि उनके पास अपने बच्चो से बात करने का समय ही नहीं है या फिर वे विद्यायल में प्रवेश दिलाकर फिर एक - दो ट्यूटर रखकर अपने कर्तव्य की इति - श्री मान लेते है। मै चाहूंगी की मेरे विद्यायल में पढ़ने वाले बच्चो के अभिभावकों का विद्यायल के आचर्योज नियमित संपर्क बना रहे तथा दोनों के सहयोग से शिक्षा के स्तर में सुधार हो।

 

परीक्षा प्रणाली :-  

परीक्षा प्रणाली में भी पर्याप्त सुधार की इच्छा रखती हूं। आज की परीक्षा प्रणाली अत्यन्त दोषपूर्ण है। इसमें छात्रों की योग्यता का सही मूल्यांकन नहीं होता। केवल रटे - रटाए प्रश्नों के उत्तर देकर रट्टू तोते अधिक अंक के जाते है। और आज कल तो बच्चो को महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न बता दिए जाते है जिससे वह सिर्फ वही प्रश्न उत्तर रट लेते है । परीक्षा में कौन से प्रश्न पूछे जाते है यह भी किस्मत का खेल माना जाता हैं। मेरा प्रयास रहेगा की प्रश्न - पत्रों का निर्माण इस प्रकार से किया जाए कि उसमे सम्पूर्ण पाठ्यक्रम पर आधारित ऐसे प्रश्न हो, जिनका उत्तर केवल वहीं विद्यार्थी दे सके जिसने उसे अच्छी प्रकार से पढ़ा है , केवल चुने चुनाए संभावित प्रश्न नहीं।

विभिन्न गतिवधियां :-

मै केवल विद्यायल में खेल - कुदो को अनिवार्य कर दूंगी। मै चाहूंगी की मेरे विद्यायल का कोई विद्यार्थी शारीरिक रूप से दुर्बल न हो। इसके लिए मै ' योग ' विषय को सभी के लिए अनिवार्य कर दूंगी। समय समय पर विभिन्न मनौैज्ञानिक परीक्षण करवाकर मै बालको की अभिरुचि का पता लगवाकर, उन्हें भविष्य के लिए सही मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करूंगी । इसी श्रृंखला में मै समय समय पर खेलो के विशेषज्ञों को बुलाकर बच्चो की खेल - कूद की प्रतिभा का पता लगवाकर उन्हें विभिन्न खेल - कूदो का प्रशिक्षण दिलवाऊंगी ।

विद्यार्थी के सर्वोगीण विकास के लिए हर विद्यार्थी को विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं, जैसे - भाषण , वाद - विवाद , क्विज़ , नाटक , आदि में भाग लेना अनिवार्य होगा। समय समय पर उन्हें देश के विभिन्न भागों की भ्रमण की योजना बनाकर मै अपने विद्यालय के  विद्यार्थी को भारत की बहु - आयामी  संस्कृति के दर्शन कराकर राष्ट्रीय एकता को पुष्ट करने का प्रयास करूंगी। मेरा यह प्रयास होगा कि मेरे विद्यालय से पढ़कर निकलने वाले विद्यार्थी अपने भावी जीवन में एक प्रबुद्ध, कर्मठ , संस्कारित तथा अनुशासित नागरिक बन सकें।
