If there is no rest and recreation, man loses a great deal of energy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. We can use our leisure in one of the following activities: 

(a) Games: One way of utilizing leisure is to take part in outdoor games and sports Games and sports remove fatigue. Blood circulates and the whole body becomes light and cheerful. It not only refreshes our mind and body but also enables us to work with zealand vigour.

(b) Hobbies: Hobbies also serve a useful purpose in utilizing leisure. Gardening, stamp collection, photography, painting, swimming, etc., refresh us. They fill us with a new spirit a the monotonous work of the whole day. 

(c) Gardening: Gardening is a very paying hobby. It is a good pastime. It also provides physical exercise. It keeps us in contact with nature and its beauty.

(d) Photography Photography is an entertaining hobby. It is very interesting to take snapshots and decorate an album. But it is a very costly hobby. Only a few men can afford it.

(f) Stamp collection is also a good hobby. It is pleasing and useful. 

(g) Reading: Reading is a good hobby as well as a good pastime. Interesting books give us great pleasure. They make us fresh and cheerful. They put an end to all cares and worries They increase our knowledge.
